Star of David Necklace with Gemstones, Judaica Jewelry

For this Star of David necklace, I used a bunch of lovely gemstones and a hand-cast Star of David pendant. It is made right here in Australia from food-grade pewter.

The gemstones are amethyst, green onyx and mystic quartz. They are all micro faceted and cut into cute onion shapes.

Both pendants are attached to a sleek snake chain, made out of solid stainless steel. The chain measures 42cm and closes with a spring ring clasp. A small garnet drop is attached right next to the clasp.

Total length of the Star of David pendant is 2.5cm.

"The Star of David, known in Hebrew as the Shield of David is a generally recognized symbol of Jewish identity and Judaism. Its shape is that of a hexagram, the compound of two equilateral triangles. The hexagram has been in use as a symbol of Judaism since the 17th century."
