The Australian government has recently decided to cull sharks - because it is apparently bad for the tourism industry.

This charm necklace is for everyone who thinks that simply killing an animal because it's inconvenient is not the solution.

I attached a very detailed silver shark charm to a solid stainless steel box chain, together with a all natural blue chalcedony (this large drop is a rare quality, mined in Germany and measuring 12mm in height), a sunny citrine and a dark blue iolite slice to symbolize the ocean, the clouds and the sun. I also attached a little heart charm - just because...

Total length of the necklace is 50cm and it closes with a secure lobster claw clasp. A little blue sodalite bead is attached right next to the clasp.

The shark charm measures 38mm in length. It is very detailed and cast right here in Australia out of premium grade, polished pewter.

All metal is silver tone, the chain and the heart are solid stainless steel.

- The last photo is a bit blurry, but I wanted to show how the shark dangles on the necklace.
