Dentric Opal Necklace

This unique gemstone is a genuine opal. These opals are called 'dentric' opal. Dendritic Opal (or Moss Opal) is the name given to any common opal with tree or fern like silicates or manganese oxide inclusions.

The lovely gemstone is faceted and measures 2.5cm in length.

I wire wrapped the opal to a black finished trace chain which measures 50cm in length. The chain closes with a lobster claw clasp.
