White Pearl, Citrine and Heart Necklace

For this necklace, I used a strand of white, freshwater pearls. The pendant is a heart charm with an applied swallow, connected to the necklace via a faceted citrine link.

The heart pendant is a stamping, made from old molds (a mold is a piece of metal, used to press something out of sheet metal in a certain shape). Due to the manufacturing process, stampings are hollow from the back. This makes them particularly suitable for certain jewellery pieces because they are not so heavy.

The necklace measures 44cm in length and closes with a lobster claw clasp.

All metal is solid brass.
