Dragonfly Necklace with Large Wire Wrapped Gemstones

This is a large scenic medallion, showing a dragonfly flying in between reed or large grass. The medallion measures nearly 5cm in diameter.

I have connected the pendant to a substantial 80cm solid brass rolo chain. I have also added a second pendant with three extra large gemstones. There is a 18mm smooth Smokey Quartz drop, 20mm faceted Ametrine and a fat, 9mm faceted Rose Quartz onion shaped briolette.

The chain closes with a lobster claw clasp.

I hand-oxidised the necklace and polished everything to a lovely, soft golden colour.

The finish is sealed with a non-toxic jewellery lacquer.
