Unusual colours and shapes form this one-of-a-kind piece.
The name "Bohemian" refers not only to a region in the Czech republic, but to a group of artists and musicians living roughly 100 years ago, known for defying convention and living with disregard for standards.
A "Rhapsody" is a piece of Classical music with distinct sections that is played as one movement.
Surprising mix of gemstones, shapes and colours coming together to create this lovely, yet unusual piece.
On the left, we have three large spheres of dark green 'Mountain Jade', leading over to the oval Picture Jasper window bead. Right next to the Picture Jasper, there is a carved Black Onyx flower, a big faceted rectangle of Chinese Sugilite and finally three smooth Amethyst tear drops.
The pendant section is connected to the copper trace chain via two of my 'twist connectors'.
Finally, we have a pre-purchased toggle clasp with a Cape Amethyst bead to both sides.
Total length is 47mm or 19inches.
All metal is solid, untreated copper, 'Mountain Jade' is the trade name for Italian Dolomite which is probably colour treated.
