Dark Labradorite and Amethyst Horseshoe Necklace

There is Labradorite and then there is LABRADORITE. One is olive/grey and bland and the other one is a fine blue/grey, transparent with a wonderful blue shimmer which is the one I have used for this necklace.

The feminine horse-shoe pendant necklace really showcases this beautiful labradorite with every smooth, polished nugget displaying that popular blue shimmer. All nuggets sit on my hand torched ball pins.

For some contrast, I have placed a faceted round amethyst in between the nuggets and have also added a faceted drop next to the lobster claw clasp.

The delicate copper trace chain is interrupted by faceted Labradorite rondelles.

Total length is 47cm, all metal is solid copper which I oxidised, tumble polished and finally sealed with non-toxic jewellery lacquer to preserve the finish.
