Wire Wrapped Fluorite Pendant

This is a gorgeous, multicoloured Fluorite lentil bead. It measures 25mm/ 1inch in diameter and is polished to a smooth finish.

The purple and green stripes within the stone are not straight, so I decided to offset the stone into its wire wrapped frame.

It is closer at the top and the drill hole of the bead is on a bit of an angle.

The wire also goes along the back of the stone to keep it from turning in its frame.

The whole frame is tightly wire wrapped and the whole pendant is oxidised and tumble polished.

Total length of the pendant, including bail is 4cm.
