Amethyst, Peridot and Rose Quartz Locket Necklace

Lockets have been a sentimental favourite for decades or rather centuries. I wanted to bring some of that old tradition into this piece.

I used a solid brass locket which I oxidised to achieve the lovely 'old gold' colour. The locket is attached to the chain via a connecting link that sports a precision faceted pink Amethyst nugget that is framed by two small, corrugated bead caps.

For some more colour, I added a second pendant, set with two wire wrapped gemstones, Peridot and Amethyst.

The solid brass necklace measures 44cm and closes with a spring ring clasp. I added a cute little Rose Quartz drop next to the clasp.

All metal is solid, oxidised brass, the locket is 20mm long by 15mm wide.
