Charoite Necklace

This is a good size genuine charoite drop with beautiful colour.

Charoite was discovered in the 1940s, but unknown to the outside world until 1978. Its name is derived from the Chara (or Charo) River in eastern Siberia, Russia, the only site in the world where it is found.

I wire wrapped the drop to a shiny, stainless steel necklace, measuring 45cm or 18 inches in length.
