Black Onyx with Bat and Skull Necklace, Red Crystals

This elegant gothic necklace is made out of shiny black onyx beads together with a couple of silver rondelles. The onyx beads are man made (like a lot of black onyx these days, but most of the time, the seller won't tell you). These ones have a beautiful polish and measure 6mm in diameter.

In stark contrast to the shiny black beads, the silver pendant displays a large bat holding a skull. I hand set two sparkling red crystals into the eyes of the skull.

Matching with the red crystals, I also added a faceted red drop at the end of the extension chain.

Total length of the necklace is 44cm with a 4cm extension chain. Clasp is a secure lobster claw clasp.

The fabulous bat/skull pendant measures 35mm in height and 45mm in width. It is hand cast here in Australia from food grade pewter - a great sterling silver alternative. All other metal is silver tone.
