A cockatoo is part of the parrot species. They are recognizable by their showy crests and curved bills.

The pendant I used for this brooch has been hand-cast right here in Australia out of premium, lead-free pewter. It has then been oxidised and polished to bring out the detail and finally mounted onto a classic pin back.

What a great gift idea.
