Astrophylite Necklace

Astrophylite is not a gemstone you see very often, it is considered very rare. I have used three squares which are drilled corner to corner.

The focal piece has a dark and lighter grey pattern and is suspended from a solid copper bead. Both side pieces are nearly uniformly dark brown grey. The middle dangle measures 5.5cm in length.

The gemstones are framed with lacy bead caps and attached to a two strand necklace, made with shiny black and tiny copper seed beads.

The necklace measures 43cm and closes with an ornated toggle clasp.
