When it comes to stars, flowers or moon shaped beads - I just have to get them. Especially when they are as nice as this Sodalite one and in this large size.

This one measures 35mm across and had a polished flat shape but in a nice thickness (4mm). It shows the typical blue, grey and black colours we are used to when seeing Sodalite in larger sizes.

I have placed the large star on one of my hand torched ball pins and threaded onto a classic ball chain.

For some brighter colour and additional sparkle, I added 3 glowing, micro faceted Chalcedony drops. These are 3 dimensional tear drop briolettes with a lovely, hazy pink colour.

The chain measures 40cm in length and all metal is solid copper which I hand oxidised, tumble polished and sealed to keep colour and shine.
