Wire Wrapped Ornate Purple Drop Earrings

These purple drop beads have a wonderful ornate old world pattern in slightly matte gold and what is even better, they are made out of Lucite so they are perfectly light - great for earrings.

I have framed the drops with shiny gold bead caps and daisy spacers and topped with a Czech bead in a similar purple shade.

More gold beads finish the earrings before they are attached to secure lever back ear wires. The ear wires are nice and small in size with a slightly rectangular shape - I wanted a connection to modern times. I have also wire wrapped the ear wires with tiny Czech beads, a similar purple shade.

All metal parts of these earrings is solid brass with a shiny layer of real 14K gold. It prevents the brass from tarnishing prematurely. 

Total length of the earrings is 4.5cm.
