Labyrinth Necklace with Birthstone Ruby, July

Labyrinths are ancient symbols (see explanation below) which have been fascinating humans for a long time.

The pendant I used for this necklace shows a labyrinth in great detail. I threaded it onto a durable stainless steel cable chain which measures 45cm in length. I also added a tiny, genuine ruby bead right next to the clasp.

Ruby is the official birthstone for July, making this necklace a great birthday gift.

The labyrinth pendant was hand cast out of high quality pewter, right here in Australia, it measures 2cm in diameter.

A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world.
