More info

The Hamsa symbol is found in several cultures throughout the Middle East and Northern Africa. It is believed to be a symbol of protection; the symmetrical hand with five fingers also symbolizes the power of the number five.

Turquoise coloured gemstones are a popular combination with the Hamsa hand symbol and the colour is also believed to protect against the evil eye.

I topped the cone shaped turquoise with an ornate bead cap and also added a little freshwater pearl dangle.

The turquoise pendant measures 38mm in length.

All three pendants are attached to a stainless steel trace chain, measuring 20 1/2 inches in length and closing with a lobster claw clasp.
