Gorgeous Garnet Single Stone Necklace

This is such an exquisite little garnet drop, a rare quality all natural gemstone.

The gemstone is cut into a slice with bevel faceting around the edges. It is not a big stone (garnet is rarely found in large specimen), just perfect as a signature birthstone necklace or an every-day little drop of colour. This garnet variety is called 'almandine garnet' and is being mined in Brazil.

The pendant measures a total of 1.5cm, please see photo #4 for size comparison.

The pendant is threaded onto a solid brass necklace measuring 45cm (18") in length and closes with a spring ring clasp.

All metal has been slightly oxidised, polished and finally sealed with a non-toxic lacquer to keep colour and shine.
